Key Surgical Interests

Anthony has extensive training in advanced minimally invasive surgery as applied to the upper abdomen and abdominal wall. He has a particular interest in laparoscopic surgery involving the stomach and oesophagus, therefore bariatric surgery, hiatus hernia repair and anti-reflux surgery are amongst his most commonly performed procedures. Hernias are approached with "keyhole" or laparoscopic surgery in most cases and oesophageal cancer resection is usually performed via a thoracoscopic approach to the chest rather than thoracotomy. Anthony is a bariatric surgery specialist and offers the full range of surgical solutions to weight loss including gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, biliopancreatic diversion as well as revisional surgery.
