I'm Dr Patrick Moore. I've been a specialist bariatric surgeon for more than 25 years, and I was the first surgeon in Victoria to perform the sleeve gastrectomy at Box Hill hospital in January 2006 — the operation that has since become Australia's most common weight loss procedure. I've now performed over 3000 weight loss procedures, and along the way I've trained and mentored surgeons in these techniques, both here in Victoria and interstate.
