I chose NEWLS over all the other clinics for a few reasons:

• they care about their patients
• they believe in you
• they care about your future 
• the staff are like family
• beautiful people all round

I was scared as I was only 22 and I had already had other multiple surgeries so adding another surgery scared me a lot. I also never thought that this surgery would work as no other ways of weight loss had worked prior.

Have some self-belief, ask lots of questions  - no question is silly and don’t be too hard on yourself.

It’s hard not to be sometimes but everyone goes through their own journey and remembers that in the end. Everyone goes through this surgery differently and recovers differently. One person may have had surgery at the same time as you but everyone is different and will have different results.

Make sure that you are ready to take on this chapter. Not only is it a massive commitment but it’s also another chance at life, so do your research but also remember that everyone has their own experiences even if it is the same surgery you will be getting.
