My Journey has been nothing short of amazing, Having the Sleeve surgery has given me my life back and has been the biggest tool in my journey to becoming a mum.

I chose NEWLS above other clinics because it felt like a family. 3 years ago I had my Sleeve and I still receive great support and regularly keep in touch with the team.

At first, I was so desperate to become a mum I didn't feel like having to wait 12 months after surgery to start trying again. I thought I would be wasting another year. After speaking with Patrick and Merril, they put my mind at ease and I was made aware that waiting 12 months to have the surgery would be the safest way for me to bring another human into this world.

I'm glad I did as now I have 2 beautiful boys and I am the healthiest I have been in a long time.

I love being able to run around with my boys and play with them without getting tired or exhausted.

My biggest tip would be to ensure you're being honest with your team. I will always tell Merril how I am feeling and we work together to understand why. With both my pregnancies post Gastric Sleeve I liaise constantly with Merril. This helped me keep on track and have the healthiest pregnancies.

Do it! My only regret is not doing it sooner.
